The CMS Collaboration presents the to-date most precise measurement of the Higgs boson width and coupling to two vector bosons. The latter is found to be consistent with standard model expectations.

This paper investigates systems far from equilibrium, which exhibit hydrodynamic behavior. The authors compare the usefulness of different approximation schemes, namely the gradient expansion and the “slow roll” approximation, when applied to Gubser" flow, which is more physical thanBjorken” flow but is still mathematically tractable. The large order behavior of these perturbations is determined for the first time.

The authors investigate the nonlinear dynamics of a far-from-equilibrium weakly coupled plasma undergoing a certain hydrodynamic expansion – Bjorken expansion. By using an asymptotic perturbative power series of the one-particle distribution function, they develop a new non-perturbative dynamical renormalization scheme that goes beyond the linear response theory. As a result, this provides a new description for the transport coefficients in regimes far from equilibrium.
