We are pleased to announce that Bruno Loureiro will assume the position of Associate Editor at PRE, effective November 1st, 2024. Dr. Loureiro is a CNRS research scientist at the Computer Science department of École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris, working at the crossroads of machine learning and statistical physics. He holds a Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Cambridge, and before moving to ENS held postdoctoral positions at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the Institut de Physique Théorique (IPhT) in Paris. He is interested in Bayesian inference, theoretical machine learning, and high-dimensional statistics. His research aims at understanding how data structure, optimization algorithms, and architecture design come together for successful learning.
Dr. Loureiro will mostly work on manuscripts on machine learning and artificial intelligence.
