Towards a Bullet-proof test for indirect signals of dark matter

Peter W. Graham, Surjeet Rajendran, Ken Van Tilburg, and Timothy D. Wiser

Phys. Rev. D 91, 103524 (2015) - Published 20 May, 2015

Maps of merging galaxy clusters could help find signatures of dark matter based on its decay into photons.

Search for gamma-ray emission from dark matter annihilation in the large magellanic cloud with the fermi large area telescope

Matthew R. Buckley, Eric Charles, Jennifer M. Gaskins, Alyson M. Brooks, Alex Drlica-Wagner, Pierrick Martin, and Geng Zhao

Phys. Rev. D 91, 102001 (2015) - Published 5 May, 2015

The Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) is potentially an important astrophysical source for dark matter annihilation signals. After setting a minimum bound on the amount of dark matter in the LMC, the authors use five years of Fermi-LAT data to set limits on the dark matter annihilation cross section.

SUSY implications from WIMP annihilation into scalars at the Galactic Center

Tony Gherghetta, Benedict von Harling, Anibal D. Medina, Michael A. Schmidt, and Timothy Trott

Phys. Rev. D 91, 105004 (2015) - Published 5 May, 2015

Certain dark matter annihilation processes can explain the γ-ray excess emanating from the galactic centre, which was observed in the Fermi- LAT experiment. The authors show that the relevant dark matter annihilation channels fit well into a supersymmetric extension of the standard model (next-to-minimal supersymmetric model).

Derivation of the exact expression for the D function in N=1 SQCD

M. A. Shifman and K. V. Stepanyantz

Phys. Rev. D 91, 105008 (2015) - Published 11 May, 2015

The authors compute the Adler D function - a quantity that encodes QCD corrections to the photon propagator - to all orders in perturbation theory for a supersymmetric version of QCD ( N=1 supersymmetric QCD). Moreover, they argue that the result is exact beyond the perturbation theory, and they relate it to the anomalous dimension of the matter fields.

Moreover, they argue that the result is exact beyond the perturbation theory, and they relate it to the anomalous dimension of the matter fields.
