Abstract
A mechanism involving pions in the intermediate state is considered for the process . Fixed-momentum dispersion relation methods are employed to evaluate the cross sections and luminosities for both electron-type and muon-type neutrinos. Comparison is made between this mechanism and previous results involving intermediate bosons.
