Abstract
Hadron interactions are formulated in terms of relativistic quark models. The constraints of vector-meson dominance and partial conservation of axial-vector current are used to select convenient quark-quark-meson vertex functions. These vertex functions correspond to Llewellyn Smith's model I. Interactions of hadrons are assumed to take place through quark interactions, and coupling constants are evaluated using quark graphs. The results are consistent with vector-meson-dominance and the current-mixing model. Deviations from SU(3) and the nonrelativistic additivity quark model are predicted.
