Abstract

We discuss supersymmetry in a two-dimensional self-interacting fermionic model using the path-integral approach. After analyzing the equivalence between the purely fermionic model and the supersymmetric sine-Gordon model, we show that the supersymmetric transformations, which are nonlinear in fermionic fields, have an associated supercurrent which is conserved only at the quantum level: the noninvariance of the purely fermionic action is compensated by the noninvariance of the fermionic measure. The connection between these results and those arising in free fermionic models are also discussed.
