Abstract

We calculate the unitarity correction to the approximation of $κ$ dominance of the scalar, strangeness-changing channel in the hard-meson analysis of $K_{l 3}$ decay by Chang and Leung. New ranges are obtained for the possible values of $\frac{F_{K}}{F_{π}}$ and $f_{+} (0)$ . In particular, the latter satisfies $f_{+} (0) < 1$ .
