Abstract

A formulation of a ghost-free axial gauge is constructed in supergravity. In this paper we concentrate mainly on the spin-32 fermion field, since the discussion on the gravitational field is the same in our supergravity theory as that given in a previous paper by the present author on Einstein gravity. In our axial gauge we investigate a general structure of a free propagator, an exact propagator with eight form factors, two physical polarization vectors, and the physical polarization sum for a spin-32 fermion.
