Abstract

We show the general features to be expected in scattering at energies high enough that the scattering amplitude consists of only the Pomeranchuk Regge pole and the two-Pomeranchuk-cut terms. The predictions of the Reggeized multiple-scattering quark model for pion-nucleon scattering at lab momenta up to 500GeVc are given as a specific example.
