Abstract

The Bell-Steinberger unitarity condition is used to discuss the relation between the phase φW of the "unitarity sum" appearing in that relation and the Lee-Wolfenstein phase φε, for which an explicit formula is given in terms of |ε|, γ1, γ2, and m2m1.
