Abstract

Three-body final-state interactions are considered for simple cases within the framework of the Khuri-Treiman equation. It is noted that an approximation to partial-wave amplitudes, which consists essentially of the direct- and crossed-channel Watson terms, reproduces the analytic properties of the exact amplitudes to a considerable extent, particularly in the vicinity of the physical region.
