Compositeness of External Particle and Absence of Fixed Poles in Photoproduction Processes

Abstract

We present a new argument, based on the study of the potential-theory model, which claims that the right-signature fixed poles are absent in the photoproduction processes if the external particles lie on Regge trajectories. Our result is in complete agreement with the conclusions of other authors who have studied relativistic models of photoproduction.
