Abstract

We present evidence that current divergences belong to the (3,3*)+(3*,3) representation of $SU (3) \times SU (3)$ . We also give various estimates of the parameter $c$ that describes the strength of the $SU (3)$ -breaking term relative to the chiral-symmetry-breaking term, using the Veneziano model for $π - π$ and $π - K$ scattering. The ratio $\frac{f_{K}}{f_{π}}$ is also estimated.
