Motivated in part by the success of the AVSb kagome superconductors, ongoing efforts to explore new kagome metals have led to the discovery of a range of materials exhibiting unique magnetic and electronic properties. In this study, the authors present novel vanadium-based kagome antimonides that incorporate the chemical flexibility of a rare-earth site, allowing for the intertwining of magnetic and charge degrees of freedom. These new compounds, namely EuVSb and YbVSb, provide valuable insights into the relatively small LnMX family and open up potential avenues for the realization of additional rare-earth, antimonide-based kagome metals.
