Abstract

The quantized quasiparticle spectrum associated with the bending in an l^ texture is most readily seen in the ultrasonic attenuation at low temperatures (say TTc0.3). The attenuation coefficient has a strong frequency dependence for ω=Δ0(2ε)12[p12+(p+1)12], where p is an integer and ε is a bending parameter of the order of 103 typically. We propose a few experimental setups where the necessary texture is created.
