General Poincaré gauge theory: Hamiltonian structure and particle spectrum

This paper provides a comprehensive study of general Poincare gauge theories of gravity, of both even and odd parity, investigating its Hamiltonian structure, obtaining the mass eigenvalues of its linearized modes, identifying the associated positivity and reality conditions and establishing that not all the modes are dynamic. This is a rather detailed and significant study of an alternative theory of gravity.
