The authors investigate the phase diagram of finite temperature QCD with three degenerate flavors. In particular, they determine the critical point in the mass-temperature plane where the first order chiral symmetry restoration transition, which is present at small mass, turns into a second order one. This is done in the continuum limit of the lattice regulated theory.
