Electroweak symmetry breaking is a key feature of the Standard Model, and at high energies we should see “restoration” of the full symmetry. In this paper, the authors show how the channel can be used to observe this phenomenon at the LHC, effectively demonstrating the Goldstone Boson Equivalence Theorem in practice.
