Left-Right Multiplicites and the Two-Component Model

Abstract
Left-right multiplicities provide a more sensitive measure of the relative amount of diffractive dissociation in the total cross section than total multiplicity distributions. New 200-GeV/c left-right cross sections are found to be in qualitative agreement with the two-component model of Frazer, Peccei, Pinsky, and Tan.
