Gauge Model for the Electromagnetic Form Factor and the Meson

Abstract
Following the basic idea of the spontaneously broken gauge theory and dominance and its universality, we propose a simple model for the meson. With the identification of the Higgs scalar meson with the meson, we are able to give a satisfactory description of various results in electron colliding-beam experiments. The suppression of the decay mode of the meson relative to the mode is determined by the scale dimension of the interaction terms. The pion form factor and the Dirac isovector form factor of the nucleon are identical in the present model, and they are in agreement with experiment.
