Abstract
A unitary model of multiparticle amplitudes with multiperipheral and diffractive production mechanisms is presented. The model has a bootstrap solution for the elastic amplitude of the form , leading to constant total cross sections at high energies. Inelastic cross sections and multiplicity distributions may be predicted in qualitative agreement with experiment.
