Measurement of the asymmetry parameter for the Decay

Abstract
We have measured the parameter of the decay using data collected with the HyperCP spectrometer during the 1997 fixed-target run at Fermilab. Analyzing a sample of , decays, we obtain . With the accepted value of , is found to be .
