Abstract

We have carried out a study of ππ scattering using the reaction πdppππ at an incident π momentum of 7 GeV/c. We have extracted the isotopic-spin-2 ππ phase shifts and elastic cross section using a modified Chew-Low extrapolation. We obtain a value of - 7.7° ± 1.2° for the s-wave phase shift at the K0 mass. Our measurements are in good agreement with current-algebra predictions.
