Matrix for Three-Particle Scattering

Abstract
The realization of the three-body -matrix formalism in terms of Faddeev-type scattering integral equations is established. A prescription is suggested for handling possible resonance-pole singularities in the two-particle matrices which enter as input into these equations. As an application of the formalism a fully unitary impulse approximation is developed.
