Abstract

Nonforward scaling and the light-cone commutator are shown to require the existence of a Kronecker $δ$ term in $T_{1}$ . The present data may be consistent with the possibility that this Kronecker $δ$ term vanishes at $t = 0$ and $q^{2} = - \infty$ . Analyticity implies a connection between scaling behavior and Regge behavior.
