Abstract
We study the effects of induced four-fermion contact interactions, which arise when leptons and quarks are considered as composite objects, on the leptonic decays of the . The current experimental values on the leptonic decays can be used to put limits on the scale of compositeness, which can be as high as TeV and TeV for the decay modes into an electron and muon, respectively.
