Abstract

We introduce light vector and axial vector mesons as gauge particles in a (broken) local SUL(3)×SUR(3) symmetry. We also introduce a heavy axial vector meson and the interactions that combine chiral and heavy quark symmetries. Defining the weak current with appropriate chiral transformation properties we calculate the form factors in DK, DK*, and DK1.4 transitions. The results are in agreement with data, wherever data are available.
