Abstract

With the current CDF limit on the mass of the top quark approaching 100 GeV, the possibility that the top may play a central role in physics beyond the standard model has received increasing attention. We show that Primakoff production of the top quark at various colliders, via the (one-photon-exchange) flavor-changing electromagnetic vertex, may be used to put constraints on new physics scenarios.
