Abstract
We obtain the characters and one- and two-point correlators for the critical Ising model on higher-genus Riemann surfaces from the factorization properties under the pinching limit of the zero- and nonzero-homology cycles. It is straightforward to obtain the -point correlators using the above procedure and the generalization to other rational conformal field theories may be easily achieved.
