Abstract

We perform the path-integral bosonization of the Schwinger model in a topologically nontrivial sector. We show the existence of certain fermionic correlation functions which, being zero if only the trivial topological sector is considered, develop nonzero values due to the presence of the topological configuration. We give explicit expressions for these Green's functions.
