Symmetry breaking induced by topologically massive gauge fields

Abstract
Dynamical breaking of gauge symmetry induced by Abelian topologically massive gauge fields is considered. A new solution of the gap equation is obtained and, as a consequence, a two-order-parameter effective action is derived.
