Abstract
We make a number of observations on the trace anomaly in theory near a fixed point. We show that the trace anomaly for the unique finite energy-momentum tensor may not vanish but may in fact blow up near a fixed point. We make comments on the renormalization-group equation satisfied by Green's functions of .
