Abstract

The final results of our experiment to measure the sign of the $K_{L}^{0} - K_{S}^{0}$ mass difference are presented. The sign has been measured by studying the time distribution of scattered neutral $K$ mesons, using $K^{0}$ 's from the reaction $K^{+} + d \to K^{0} + p + p$ . We obtain $M_{K_{L}} > M_{K_{S}}$ .
