Nucleon Form Factors, Vector Dominance, and Lorentz Contraction

Abstract
We use the notion of Lorentz contraction of a composite cluster combined with vector-meson dominance of the one-photon exchange to derive the asymptotic form of the nucleon form factors. For the three-quark model we find a prediction which fits the data very well at large spacelike . Only the observed vector mesons, , , and , are used. Our results predict deviations from the scaling laws which are directly related to the nonvanishing electric form factor of the neutron and are of the same magnitude.
