Nonconservation and Inequalities Between and Decay Rates of and

Abstract
Assuming that the absorptive part of is due only to the on-mass-shell intermediate states, several inequalities between and decay states of and are derived without the assumption of conservation. These inequalities, together with the present experimental upper bound on , imply that the branching ratio for should be greater than 5×.
