Abstract

We discuss the effect of an isospin-violating nonelectromagnetic term U3 on K2π and K3π decays. With the coefficient of the term U3 compatible with electromagnetic mass differences, the contribution is too small to explain the (K+π+π0)(K102π) decay ratio and the deviations from the |ΔI|=12-rule prediction of slope parameters in K3π decays.
