Abstract

In extensions of the standard model with particle content given by the 27 representation of E6, flavor-changing interactions generally exist. We examine such interactions in a supersymmetric left-right model distinguished by its unconventional particle assignments. With the help of a discrete symmetry, we are able to get rid of all direct flavor-changing quark couplings to neutral particles as well as lepton couplings in the e-μ sector. We discuss various phenomenological consequences, especially those involving the τ lepton and its neutrino.
