Abstract

We present a counterexample to the conjecture that the ’t Hooft indices for composite models satisfying complementarity are bounded in magnitude by 1. The model is based on the metacolor group SU(9)MC with two preons in the representation 36 and two preons in the representation 126¯. We obtain the ’t Hooft index 12 for this model.
