Abstract

Equations of the Taub adiabat and Rayleigh line for both spacelike and timelike discontinuities are derived. Results about the timelike deflagration adiabat are given and the requirement of entropy production in these deflagrations is checked. The transitions from spacelike deflagrations to the timelike ones are discussed.
