Abstract

The radiative-capture reactions Kp→Λγ and Kp→Σ0γ are investigated within a pole-model calculation. Both pseudoscalar and pseudovector coupling schemes are used and both give branching ratios comparable to current experimental bounds. The sensitivity to the Λ(1405) is investigated and improved constraints are determined for its contribution. Our methods and results are compared with those of other recent calculations of these reactions.
