Abstract
Supersymmetric composite models with preons in either of two hypercolor representations and such that ××⊃1 are studied. Chirality preservation is investigated by using the ’t Hooft anomaly-matching equations and the decoupling theorem. No solutions to these equations are found if R symmetry is assumed to survive supersymmetry breaking. Solutions exist if R symmetry is assumed to break, and the embedding of SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1) in the chiral-symmetry group is considered.
