Superweak Interactions and Invariance

Abstract
We examine the role of invariance in theories in which nonconservation arises solely through perturbation of the effective Hamiltonian. While the assumption of invariance requires that the observed nonconservation arise from an interaction obeying , the assumption that the superweak interaction obeys leads to the same predictions as invariance, regardless of whether it possesses that symmetry.
