Conspiracy versus Regge Cuts in Charge Exchange

Abstract
A phenomenological study of charge-exchange differential cross section and polarization is made using the plus a conspiring and using the plus an absorptive cut. In both cases the Regge residues are taken to have the Veneziano form . The conspiracy model is found to agree with the data considerably better than the cut model.
