Abstract

The formulas for spin and angular correlations in hyperon $β$ decay are brought into forms which can give specific information about the character of possible deviations from the universal $SU (3)$ scheme. The recent experimental results for $Λ$ -particle $β$ decay are discussed qualitatively in terms of the proposed combinations of integrated correlation coefficients.
