Frame Dependence of Vector Dominance in the Veneziano Model and a New Test of Universality

Abstract
Certain frame-dependent predictions of vector dominance are studied in terms of simple, parameter-free Veneziano models. It is shown that the transverse helicity-frame differential cross section for has a sharp forward peak, in accord with recent experiments. Within our approach (which is more general than the Veneziano one) this peak is shown to provide a new test and verification of universality. The ratio of density-matrix elements is also discussed.
