Baryon-number nonconservation, massless fermions, and the axial anomaly

Abstract
The work of Blaer, Christ, and Tang is extended to calculate the cross section of quarks scattering from a monopole in the framework of grand unified SU(5) theory. A theorem about fermion mass and the axial anomaly is proved.
