Abstract
Inclusive distributions from -meson decay are calculated on the basis of free-quark transitions with Fermi-momentum smearing; the results may be used to test the ideas of spectator dynamics and to identify experimental signals. Similar results are expected for inclusive spectra from -baryon decays. For comparison, a model based on quasi-two-body decay modes , etc., is also studied; if the lighter resonances dominate, the spectra are broadly similar to those of the model.
