Abstract

We examine the decays of $H \to 2 gluons$ , $H \to q \bar{q} g$ , and $H \to f \bar{f} (f = some fermion)$ over an extended range of Higgs-boson and $t$ -quark masses. In particular, we show that the branching ratio for $H \to 2 gluons$ may be sizable (∼ 10%) without requiring the existence of superheavy quarks. We calculate the differential spherocity and thrust distributions as well as the values of $〈 1 - T 〉$ and $〈 S 〉$ for the $H \to q \bar{q} g$ decay.
