Abstract

A study of $Ξ^{-} p$ invariant-mass distribution obtained from a $K^{-} d$ bubble-chamber experiment at $K^{-}$ momenta of 1.45 and 1.65 GeV/c is reported. The data suggest a mass enhancement at $M (Ξ^{-} p) ≃ 2480$ MeV.
