Abstract

Solutions of Einstein's equation for a perfect fluid with geodesic world lines for the metric ds2=(dx0)2a(x0)λ(x1,x2,x3) (dx1)2β(x0)μ(x1,x2,x3)(dx2)2r(x0) ν(x2,x3)(dx3)2 have been sought by Raychaudhuri and Maity [Phys. Rev. D 18, 3595 (1978)]. This note shows that the authors in the above-mentioned paper missed out certain solutions. These solutions are homogeneous in space.
